All That Glitters Ain’t Gold

By Adeabdul:

There’s a young boy who is mighty fine
He stars would be shining bright but for the weed and wine
Now he’s dead and gone and the people say.
He would’ve eighteen today had he lived far away.

Everybody wants to sell what’s already been sold.
Everybody wants to tell what’s already been told.
What’s the use of money if you ain’t gonna break the mold?
Even at the centre of the fire, there is cold.
All that glitters ain’t gold.
All that glitters ain’t gold.

In a small town where everybody knows.
Lives a preacher who is king alone.
Now the young girls who had gone astray.
Know that he’s the man, who always lead the way.

Everybody wants to sell what’s already been sold.
Everybody wants to tell what’s already been told.
What’s the use of being young if you ain’t gonna get old?
Even at centre of the fire, there is cold.
All that glitters ain’t gold.
All that glitters ain’t gold.
