The Things I Can Say About Loving You

It’s like halting chaos to breathe in oceans/ I could think of you & become a vapor of light/ rippling the deadness in a body to resurrection/ I could think of you & become an opening/ a mouth/ where birds fly with harp on their tongues/ singing with angels/ with wild boys recycled into shooting stars/ I could think of you & dissolve in a metaphor/ peace be unto the poems you’ve dusked out of my bone/ peace be unto the ones you are reserving for dawn/ for the future/ where we are geometry of divinity/ the dynamics of a love borne out of art & beauty/ loving you is magical/ this moment I am a river burning with goosebumps/ the other I am an hectare of sunbeams & lampshades/ in another I am a song ploughed into night sky in vaporizing emotions/I tell you/ some nights I leave my heart in our dreams/ it’s the only place I am funky enough to hold thunderstorms within me/ where hugs are cabins of revival/ some nights I leave my body in our memories to grow into a city in the sky/ it’s why I could tent whirlwinds in my body knowing they’ll never break me/ because love is a miracle/ & loving you is living comfy in the chest of bliss.
