I met God before I met you.

I MET GOD BEFORE I MET YOU

My heart indites a good matter.
I promise not to waste your time, it’ll only be a moment patter.

Your eyes speak a volume words too heavy for your mouth.
Do I speak? Or patiently wait for any sign of pout?

Your hands are cold, I perceive it isn’t the literal weather,
It’s your head trying to convince your heart of my Love’s truth or whether?

I watch you consistently hop on one foot, you tell me it’s how you know you’re a perfect dancer.
But I perceive it’s your mind waging a bouncer,
“Just in case he tries to break me” your mind says.

You try to hide your smirk
Expecting from me one day to strike.
How can your heart be so full of fear?
And we share the same wear?

I guess the whole twining thing doesn’t do much for you.
I’m just another guy on the queue.

My Lady, I’m here to say, you can stay and feel safe.
I met God before I met you.

My Lady, you can lean on my trust and friendship,
I met God before I met you.

I have learned the ways of true Love, and this is because,
I met God before I met you.

My mind is Renwed daily by the Word, not for your sake. This is because,
I met God before I met you.

I am here a faithful and reliable man for you. And this is because,
I met God before I met you.

And I say to you, allow me lead you to the path that God has chosen for both of us.
