Mary Marquardt was born in 1945, February and she hails from the  USA. Her early childhood days weren’t duly revealed. She had a typical American upbringing and also studied at the all-women’s Ripon college in Wisconsin during the 1960’s.

Mary Marquardt and Harrison Ford met during their college years in the early 1960s in Ripon. They fell in love and started a romantic relationship which further graduated after some years. Mary and Harrison decided to tie the knot in 1964. 

Mary was 20 years old when she became Harrison’s first wife with the actor being in the nascent phase of his acting career. The beautiful part is they made a home together as Ford started auditioning for small roles in movie and television shows. 

In 1966, Mary and Harrison welcomed their first child, a son named Benjamin Ford. After three years, they welcomed their second child, Willard Ford in 1969. However, as their family was growing likewise Ford’s career. In 1973, Ford started a role in the film American Graffiti. Over the years, she expanded her experience in the restaurant industry by collaborating with her son, Benjamin Ford who also developed a passion for cooking and became a professional chef. They worked together at Benjamin’s eating joint Cafe FX.

Mary Marquardt finally retired from cooking in her early 2000s. Now, she is said to be reaping the fruits of her labor equally as she enjoys life with her children and grandchildren.
