Grace Harry was born on April 2, 1969 and bred in Brooklyn,  New York, United States. According to her, she had a not-to-good upbringing by her parents. Grace’s mother had her when she was just 17. In an interview, Grace Harry stated that she spent most of her years in foster homes. After a while, she reconciled with her mother. 

Although, Grace made sure her parents were anonymous. However, she revealed her dad struggled with an addiction and spent time in prison. 

Grace has a mixed ethnic root. She is African-American from her father’s side and Caucasian from her mother’s. She is also a Christian by religion.

Grace has built influences throughout her career, ranging from executive chef and marketing executive to artist manager and artist. Currently, she is associated with Rapture and Grace as a Joy Strategist. Along the line, she decided to sojourn further in the catering realm before she ultimately established her own catering business. 

Driven by an insatiable desire for arts, Grace Harry delved passionately and transitioned her talents into music. Fueled by already-established connections and devotion to art, she became a compelling force in the music industry.

Although Grace was formerly married to a world-renowned singer, Usher Raymond in 2015, till they went their separate paths in 2018. She is currently in a relationship with Ahmir Khalib Thompson popularly known as QuestLove.

Grace wanted kids by surrogacy, having children the natural way wasn’t an option due to her age. Usher on the other hand preferred to adopt than the suggestion Grace gave.

This put a serious strain on their marriage. Already, there was a controversy surrounding an allegation about herpes and Usher. This did not help the marriage positively.

After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.
