In 1993, they had their first child and only daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, on the 31st of May.

The couple got married in 1989 after nine years of knowing each other. However, they’d briefly broken up in 1985 before reconciling after a few months.

In 1989, Jon Bon recounted how he suddenly asked Dorothea to marry him during the peak of his career.

According to Men’s Health, they were at a hotel in Los Angeles during one of his musical performances, when he suddenly told her he had an idea.

That idea was to elope and get married. And so they stood and hopped to Las Vegas without telling anyone.
