Just because I am a woman
I'm second in order to who? Man!
In his deep sleep I was formed
To survive I must live in his world

Just because I am a woman
Even eve he is not Adam
He is to be the Oga, I be the Madam
That’s just because I am a Woman

Just because I am a woman
Education is but a waste of time
Studying is not meant for a woman
Only to take solace at home all the time

Just because I am a woman
He is to always do the proposing, not me
He is to buy me all I need with his money
That’s why he is not a woman

Just because I am a woman
They tell us abstinence is the key
To the door of feminine dignity
Give it to no one but your man

Just because I am a woman
They say where I belong is the Kitchen
My office is known as The Other Room
Where, in my socket he takes delight,
Always plugging n unplugging

Just because I am a woman
Amidst their gathering, the views
I air never drops
With lips kissing their nose, they quiz
What is the point, where is the full stop
This is just because I am a Woman

Just because I am a woman
My fate is determined by my Anatomy
Will my opinion ever affect the economy?
Or is it just because I am a Woman?

Just because I am a woman
They treat us like Vermin
But like banks, they run to us
When in expected famine

Just because I am a woman
My husband, with his ancestor is asleep
So I must always remain a widow
Like a shepherd watching his sheep
They stare at me secretly from the window
Why? Just because I am a woman

But, because I am a woman
Their erection must not determine my direction
I shall stand tall to fight and
Defend my generation
Will you join me?
Because that’s what make us Hu-man
Not,
Just because I am a Woman
