Good Year By Chimaoge Nwaigbo, Poetry on Tushstories
Good things do not easily come,
Prepared as you may be,
Focus, fight, conquer,
Feel worthy of the victory.

Look into the battle
And behold your crown.
See the good things,
See, do not just look.

The cheering is louder,
Can you not hear it?
You are being celebrated,
Listen, do not just hear.

The year is young and bright,
I am assured of its good tiding.
A treasured chiseled chip,
Will always shine with dignity.

The songs yet sung,
Will echo with clarity,
And all good things restored,
In this year of extreme good things.
